BBC Music Fellowship Scheme
The National Centre for Early Music is one of 19 organisations chosen by the BBC Performing Arts Fund to be part of its Music Fellowship Scheme.
This scheme will enable soprano Bethany Seymour to receive training, mentoring and performance opportunities within the York Early Music Festival and other concerts taking place at the NCEM.
Delma Tomlin, Director of the NCEM is delighted to be working with the BBC Performing Arts Fund and to celebrate Bethany Seymour as a new Music Fellow of the Scheme.
She added: "Bethany is an extraordinarily fine young singer who has considerable expertise in the field of early music and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to support both her professional development as a performer, and to extend her skill base, particularly in the area of early years working. We look forward to the coming year with great pleasure."
