Bryony Parkes

Bryony Parkes
Bryony works for the National Deaf Children's Society within the Inclusive Activities Team as the Arts and Leisure Officer. Working with all Creative Art mainstream organisations, such as Theatre, Dance, Drama, Circus, Photography and Music, Bryony advises and provides training and resources to activity providers who work with deaf children and young people to include them the same as their hearing peers, fulfilling the NDCS principle to reduce barriers for deaf children. Bryony was born profoundly deaf and grew up performing on stage. In earlier years, she played the clarinet and dabbled in acting. Bryony currently plays the piano.
