Monday 10th October 2016

Vivien Ellis
Vivien Ellis is a Grammy nominated singer, choir leader and researcher in the field of Arts & Health. In 2013, she was commissioned to design and deliver an Arts on Prescription education module for the Imperial College London GP Training programme. This promising trial led to a further commission from Guys and St Thomas' GP Training, delivered in November 2016 in conjunction with the Sidney De Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health, of which she is an Associate. Vivien leads a free, drop-in singing group every Monday at The Dragon Cafe , an award-winning user-led creative cafe for mental wellbeing in the crypt of St George's Church, in the London borough of Southwark. As a performer, Vivien's work focuses on folk and early music, collaborating regularly with The Carnival Band and performing in the duo Alva with Giles Lewin.
