Biography

A chamber choir of 28 voices which sings the services in Cathedrals and Abbeys around the UK as well as giving concerts. The choir members all come from around Sevenoaks and Tonbridge and include members from further afield including London and Eastbourne. The main stipulation is that the singers have no vibrato and enjoy a good laugh. The Scholars have made three recordings and do occasional visits abroad. Their next overseas trip will be in summer 2017 and they have recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with a performance of Handel's Dixit Dominus with the Plaxtol Chamber Players.
