Booking Office

There are a variety of ways to book tickets for events. Use the secure on-line ticket booking service now available to book multiple events or use the What's On events diary to find individual events.

Telephone: The Box Office on 01904 658338. The Box Office is open weekdays between 9.00am - 5.00pm and an hour prior to a performance.

Call in Person: Between 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (closed on Bank Holidays). The National Centre for Early Music is situated in St Margaret's Church. The main Box Office entrance is on Percy's Lane, just off Navigation Road, York.

By Post: Send details of your ticket request to The National Centre for Early Music, St Margaret's Church, Walmgate, York Y01 9TL enclosing an SAE. Cheques should be made payable to The National Centre for Early Music.

Payment  Methods: Credit and Debit Cards are welcome, using Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Access or Maestro (please note that surcharges apply). Please note we do not accept American Express.

Group Bookings:  Buy 10 get one free! We welcome group bookings (subject to ticket availability) and ask that all tickets are booked in the same transaction to take advantage of this offer.

Provisional Bookings: Must be confirmed with payment within three working days and at least 24 hours prior to the performance.

Seating: Is unreserved, unless otherwise stated.

Concession Prices: Are shown in brackets and apply to people aged from 60 years onwards, unemployed, registered disabled and carers.

Student Tickets: Are available at £5.00 on selected events as a limited offer. Please book early to avoid disappointment (where a student price is not stated, the concession price applies to students).

Student Standby: Tickets will be available on the day for selected concerts only. This information will be publicised on our website at www.ncem.co.uk
