Biography

Since performing on their first ground-breaking tours of `The Frozen Jewel of Potosi', `The Cradle of the renaissance' and `Music for Dukes Bold, Fearless and Rash', Sirinu have performed throughout Europe and in north Africa and south America for the British Council.

Equally interested in contemporary and ethnic music - from Iran to the Andes, they have recorded exciting programmes of historic journeys and travel -`The Road to Toledo' and 'In the Footsteps of Ziryab' for BBC Radio 3. They've also given first performances of commissioned works by Howard Skempton, Christopher Fox and Graham Fitkin for the Bradford Festival, Pennisula Arts, Bath Spa Live, the Place and MUSICA at the ICA.
