Lift Up Your Voice - 25th May 2019

Lift Up Your Voice
Saturday 25th May
Toll Gavel United Church

'Songs of Revelry and Reflection from Beverley and beyond'

A part-song workshop presented by singer Vivien Ellis for all ages drawing on popular harmony singing traditions from Chapel and Tavern, Parlour and Theatre. With unusual songs to raise spirits, tickle ribs, and touch the heart, participants will be discovering what our ancestors loved to sing, and rediscover the beauty of those stories and harmonies, and their power to move us today.

Vivien's accessible approach means participants who wish to learn by ear or from written music, will be able to sing songs in parts in this light-hearted, and inspirational workshop.
