Trailblaze with Brahms

Trailblaze with Brahms is an exciting KS2 music education project involving two whole day workshops within three York Primary schools, leading to a workshop and performance day on the 1st July.

The workshops will give children the chance to hear, play, compose, create and dance in response to Brahms' Hungarian Dance No.5.and allow them to explore the Hungarian Gypsy and folk music influences within the piece. The project will highlight how past, local, musical traditions can still inspire us today.

If your school would like to be involved in the project, please contact Lottie on lottie.brook@ncem.co.uk .

We recommend a class/year group size of approx 30 children would be suitable for this project.
