NCEM response to Coronavirus

Update as at 20th May 2020

The NCEM regrets to confirm that the 2020 York Early Music Festival is now cancelled. This is hugely disappointing for everyone involved, but is the right decision for the safety of our artists and audiences. We would like to thank our wonderful patrons, friends, funders and supporters who have helped us at this difficult time. Many have donated and we are hugely appreciative of everyone's kindness. If you are able to help us, please donate at www.ncem.co.uk/donate. We have contacted everyone who had booked to attend any of these events, but should you be worried that you haven't heard from us, please contact us on boxoffice@ncem.co.uk

Whilst you can't come to the NCEM, we can come to you! We are streaming concerts on our facebook page every fortnight and you can join our audience conversation running alongside the concert. Our monthly Cuppa & a Chorus singing group is now also online and happening every Monday, so if you would like to try a session, please book here .

The NCEM continues to be a venue for many other events other than music. We are proud to be able to support the NHS Blood Donation Service since lockdown, keeping open for critical blood donation sessions - if you are interested in donating, please book an appointment  here.

Thank you for your support. We are looking forward to welcoming you back into the NCEM soon.

Until then, stay safe and take care.
