Two of the most respected voices in traditional folksong form a powerhouse duo that is hilarious and heartbreaking, intense and joyful. Their new album 'Bottle', creates a unique sound mixing
hardcore 'Americana' and hardcore 'Anglicana' – traditional material from both sides of the pond and featuring fiddle, electric guitar, banjo and bass drum. Eliza Carthy is one of the most engaging performers of her generation. Twice nominated for the Mercury Prize she has performed and recorded with an array of artists including Paul Weller, Richard Hawley, John Smith, Van Dyke Parks and Peggy Seeger. Tim Eriksen is acclaimed for transforming American tradition with his startling interpretations of old ballads, love songs, shape-note gospel and dance tunes from New England and Southern Appalachia.
