Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman

Two outstanding folk musicians with an eclectic repertoire of traditional, self-penned and cover songs. Kathryn, a superb vocalist, plays both piano and woodwind while Sean is a gifted acoustic guitarist. Kathryn first came to notice in her early 90s duo with Kate Rusby, before teaming up with the Lakeman brothers and Cara Dillon in the group Equation, which found particular success in North America. More recently she and Sean have worked as an acclaimed but low-key and occasional duo, in between the demands of a young family and Sean's membership of brother Seth's hugely successful band. The Dartmoor-based couple are now returning fully to the fray with a high profile album, Hidden People, for the prestigious Navigator label and a large-scale autumn tour.
