Inspired by the music of Duke Ellington and taking many of Ellington's most revered compositions such as 'Satin Doll', 'Mood Indigo', 'It Don't Mean A Thing' and 'Creole Love Call', Mark has deconstructed and arranged these melodies into a fascinating set of new music, rich in orchestration and concept but entirely respectful to the beauty of Ellington's original creations. Featuring some of the most exciting and original musicians in the UK, this is a unique and radical project, which beautifully combines the old with the new.

'one of the most glorious bits of writing and playing you'll hear this year' Jazzwise
