YORK BY CAR

A map showing the main City Centre car parks is available from the City of York Council website. The nearest car park is Peel Street car park which is a four minute walk from the NCEM.

There is an excellent Park and Ride Service that will alight you just after Walmgate Bar that is a 2 minute walk from The National Centre for Early Music. Take the first right into Navigation Road and then the first left into Percy’s Lane.

If coming by car take the A64 to York. Follow signs to Hull, take exit for A1079, turn left at roundabout and follow signs to the City Centre. Go straight along Hull Road for approximately 3 miles to Walmate Bar, straight through the Bar, take 1st right and the National Centre for Early Music is on the left.
