OVERVIEW

The 2007 York Early Music Christmas Festival runs from Thursday 6th – Monday 10th December.

Highlights include The Clerks’ Group - performing in the Chapter House of York Minster [Thursday 6th]; the Rose Consort of Viols with mezzo-soprano Catherine King [Friday 7th]; Safar presented by candlelight within the medieval church of St Olave’s Saturday 8th]; The Burning Bush [Sunday 9th] and the European Union Baroque Orchestra [Monday 10th].

Guest artists also include tenor Mark Tucker appearing with Paula Chateauneuf chitarrone and violinist Elizabeth Wallfish working with David Miller guitars.
