Venue: NCEM, St Margaret’s Church

Throughout each day, we will present a series of informal recitals featuring all the ensembles taking part in the 2022 Competition.

These recitals, including music from the Middle Ages to the early Classical period, will be introduced by the Master of Ceremonies, Professor John Bryan, and are designed to be informative and relaxed opportunities for the ensembles and audiences to get to know one another.

Morning recitals will start at 10.30am, afternoon concerts at 2pm, you can find further details on the competition website

The York Competition is recognised as a major international platform for emerging talent in the world of early music, the competition attracts musicians from all over the globe, offering a major boost to young professional careers with opportunities for performance, recording and broadcasting, and international exposure.

Please note there is a £1.50 administration fee per transaction
