Welcome to Alignment - our Summer of Early Music Online!
This is our most ambitious Online Festival yet! Recorded by the NCEM’s specialist digital team over the past few months, and including concerts from both York and Beverley festivals, we are sharing music from the Renaissance through to the Baroque across the whole of August. With 14 concerts to choose from, we invite you to dip into the cultural world of the Spanish Queen Catherine with the vocalists Cantoria, to contemplate with the music of JS Bach presented by Florilegium in Beverley Minster, or to marvel at the genius of the glories of Venice.
