Join us here on Early Music Day – 21st March 2024 – to share some glorious early music from York, with young ensembles I Zefirelli, Flutes & Frets & The Ministers of Pastime.

We’ll be broadcasting I Zefirelli’s Greensleeves at 12md – this short film was recorded during their EEEmerging+ residency in York in July 2023. This young ensemble from Germany was in residence at NCEM for 6 days, and

At 4pm we’ll stream a performance from Flutes & Frets recorded on 15th March 2024 at Fairfax House in York during their recent short residency at the NCEM which included performances in three of York’s community libraries.

And join us this evening at 8pm to enjoy the glorious film from The Ministers of Pastime, who travelled to York from Spain in May 2023 for a residency at the NCEM and opening performance in the Beverley and East Riding Early Music Festival.
