YORK EARLY
MUSIC
CHRISTMAS
FESTIVAL
Cover art through time
The York Early Music Christmas Festival was created in 1997 to introduce audiences to the extraordinary wealth of music associated with Advent, Christmas and Epiphany intertwined with the sagas, stories and tales of the north which are designed to get us all through the long winter nights. Guest artists joining us bring programmes that cover nearly 500 years, from the Medieval through to the Baroque with most events taking place at the National Centre for Early Music at St Margaret's Church in York - a comfortable venue for a winter's evening.
The NCEM is available to hire for anniversaries, birthday parties, wedding receptions, conferences, dinners and musical events.
