Ever wanted to play a trombone or try out a tuba? Curious about what a cornet, tenor horn, or euphonium sound like? Would your child like to learn a brass instrument?
Players from York RI Golden Rail Band and York RI Development Band and their conductors Nick Eastwood and Kyle Sherwin introduce the instruments of the British brass band and guide you through a relaxed ‘Have a go’ session (including a chance to play with the band!) in this fun, family-friendly event.
The workshop will be followed by ‘Brasstastic!’, a short concert of entertaining music guaranteed to get your toes tapping!
