An interactive workshop for young people
Aimed at children aged 3-6 and their families.

King Louis XIV of France had one of the most impressive collections of animals in Europe. Children will be led on a musical journey around 18th century Versailles, from meeting the household pets of the grand palace, to the farm animals and on to the weird and wonderful animals of the zoo. We’ll introduce the animals that sparked composers’ imaginations during this age, and these creatures will spark young people’s imaginations as we sing, play and create new animal music!

Led by experienced early years music specialist Catriona McDermid, bassoonist of BBC New Generation Baroque Ensemble, Ensemble Molière.

Parents/carers can take pictures of their own children at events but must not take pictures of other children without permission from their parent/carer.

Please note there is a £1.50 administration fee per transaction
