Daniel Bizeray

A former student of the Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris, graduate of ESCP Europe and holder of a Masters degree from Paris-Dauphine University, Daniel Bizeray has managed several cultural organisations. 

Now general manager of the Cultural Encounter Centre of Ambronay, he was previously artistic director of the "Voix" programme and the Theatrical Unity of the Cultural Encounter Centre of Royaumont Abbey - Royaumont Foundation. Before that, Daniel Bizeray was the artistic and general manager of the opera companies of Saint-Étienne, (2009-2012), Rouen (2004-2009) and Rennes (1992-2004).

Previously, he was notably general administrator of La Chapelle Royale (1982-1992), co-founder of the Orchestre des Champs- Élysées and artistic director of the Saintes Festival (1989-1991). Daniel Bizeray is also administrator of the Professional Chamber of Opera Directions.
