Sean Chandler

Sean is a severely hard of hearing trumpet and cornet player who is widely respected for his work with deaf children. He is works as a teacher of the deaf and regularly holds workshops and seminars across the country to inspire deaf children to take up playing a musical instrument, namely brass instruments.

As a performer, Sean has played Buckingham Palace (with BBC as a three part series 'Goldie's band : By Royal Appointment'), Westminster Abbey, Liverpool Cathedral and York Minster, all as a guest soloist. He was a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for 4 years as well as graduating with 1st Class honours at University of Salford. 

Following this he qualified as a Secondary school Music Teacher and was a classroom teacher for 2 years before going freelance (working with Graeae Theatre Company, London) and subsequently commencing a career as a Teacher of the Deaf.
