Biography
Born and brought up in Canada, Greg Skidmore achieved a First in Music at Royal Holloway College, was a Choral Scholar at Wells Cathedral, and a Lay Clerk at Gloucester Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford. Recent and upcoming solo engagements include Bach's St. Matthew and St. John Passions with Ex Cathedra; Handel's Messiahwith the Irish Baroque Orchestra; and Purcell's Fairy Queen with the Gabrieli Consort. Equally comfortable in ensemble singing, he appears with The Tallis Scholars, I Fagiolini, Alamire, and many others. He has given workshops in the UK, France, Canada, and Australia and is Musical Director of The Lacock Scholars.
