Biography

Sara is known mainly as soprano soloist with a number of ensembles, including Galliarda (Making music Tour 2014-5), Sirinu, Academy of Ancient Music, New London Consort, Dufay Collective, Sinfonye and Chalemie. She made her debut at the Beverley Early Music Festival however, performing French baroque music on the harpsichord and has subsequently followed a dual career playing and singing.

She has performed her latest programme 'Like a Virginal' recently at Handel House, and in Herford, Old Harlow and Louth and brings her own virginals made by Richard Vendome.

Filmed on Channel 4's illuminations programme `Sense and Sensibility', played J.C.Bach, she also has contemporary harpsichord music in her repertoire. This includes Louis Andreissen 'Overture to Orpheus', Earle Brown's '9 Rarebits' and Ligeti's 'Continuum', which she perform on a national tour of `In the Day of the Comet'.
