June Tabor is the BBC''s 2012 Folk Awards Singer of the Year. Tabor's voice is one of the wonders of the British music scene. Having toured almost exclusively for the last two years with Oysterband, she returns eagerly to her ''chamber'' format to combine the traditional with the contemporary in her own thoughtful way. Songs from her most recent album
''Ashore'' will feature, amongst others from her wide repertoire, consummately and engagingly presented by an artist who has a deep understanding of her material.
