In 1738, Emmanuel Bach arrives in Prussia. Crown Prince Frederick lives for music, and invites Emmanuel to join his group of talented players. But there is a problem: Frederick's tyrannical father, the King, has forbidden his son to make or listen to music. Frederick and his musicians defy his father's orders and perform in secret. Can Frederick's household be trusted to keep quiet? What will happen if the young musicians are discovered?

The daily sessions take place at the National Centre for Early Music from 10am to 4pm, culminating in a performance for family and friends on Friday 15 August at 7pm. £100.00 (There are a few bursary places available, please ask for details)
